Elder, as an active source of culture and knowledge of crafts, ancient crafts and arts in various forms manipulative, was the main subject of the planned actions.
Through their testimonies, the elderly club members Auser "F. Purpura "were the real protagonists of the historical reconstruction of the socio-cultural area relating to completion of the project.
On this occasion they have made a contribution, creating cognitive effects, and methodological training of great importance, and at the same time, providing young students the opportunity to acquire models of interpretation of the local environment in which they live.
These are the aims of the project "Young and old: the paths of the historical memory of Munchilebbi"
I. enhancement of the social role of older people as true masters of life,
are capable of providing knowledge and skills the younger generation;
II. promotion of the historical memory of the elders who constitute a value-added services for young people, as engagement and continuation of cultural knowledge that would otherwise be lost;
III. construction of a sense of social identity of young students by promoting
knowledge of aspects of the environment of the past;
IV. enhancement of local cultural heritage as evidence of the past;
V. discover the changes and the changes over time in relation to various aspects, in order to reconstruct the memory of what belongs to us.
